The coincidental tourist

Article Abstract:

Liberal Prime Minister of Australia John Howard showed his contempt for the terrorists planting bombs on London trains by making unscheduled visits to this places and attending the First and Second Test of the Ashes tour as part of the fight against terrorism. A similar coincidence occurred during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 when Howard's routine overseas trip took on an air of importance and became unexpectedly newsworthy, due to which Opposition Leaders Kim Beazley and Peter Costello are finding it hard to make up ground.
