Hispanic Americans are the largest single ethnic minority in the US, when those living here illegally and Puerto Ricans on that island are counted. In the last election, Hispanics were the swing vote in Texas, California, New York and several other states. As their population continues to grow, politicians and corporations are taking note. Several notable Hispanic Americans are profiled.
