Article Abstract:

An argument is put forward against the inconsistency of the laws imposed in many parts of Australia that prohibit or restrict smoking. The smoking lobby feels that antismoking measures are the easiest to be adopted by a government as against drinking and other vices, because it would lose very little money and few votes, in playing tough.

The spate of bombings that have occurred in different parts of the world has brought into sharp focus the ease with which one can assemble a high-powered explosive. They have calls for banning free sale of many substances that go in making the bomb, but it would be difficult to control access.
