The Liberal Party has already set in motion its effort to block passage of a provincial referendum on Quebec's separation prom Canada. Parliament candidate Lucienne Robillard used her Jan 1995 campaign launch event in Montreal to criticize the separatists' leader, premier Jacques Parizeau.

Hospitals under the knife: too many beds are forcing change
Article Abstract:
Ontario Health Services Restructuring Commission Chmn Dr Duncan Sinclair announced that 10 hospitals in Toronto would be closed and several others would be merged to reduce duplicate services. Hospital closures and restructuring have also been done in Saskatchewan and Quebec.
