The William Harvey Research Institute: 10th anniversary
Article Abstract:
The William Harvey Research Institute in London, England, was established in 1986 by Sir John Vane as a venue for pharmacology research and the training of postgraduate students of St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College. In 1990, the institute became a non-profit company to provide greater expertise to the pharmaceutical industry, and became a member of the Assn. of Medical Research Charities in 1991. At present, some 40 PhD students have graduated from the institute.

It is vital that there is international involvement in managing the Middle East peace process. There must be provision for a multinational peacekeeping force and strict systems of implementation and monitoring.
