In an interview, News Corporation head Rupert Murdoch discussed the downfalls of several other multimedia companies such as AOL Time Warner Inc. and Vivendi, which are struggling. In this wide-ranging interview, he noted that sales of DVDs are quite profitable to the company, and that he supports President George W. Bush on dealing with Iraq.

The Reserve Bank's strategy is overtly directed towards easing demand pressures by increasing borrowing costs and has an anxious eye on the government's forward fiscal plans. However, the Bank has in effect warned the government against expanding the demand side of the economy ahead of supply.
