Eliza Gaynor Minden, Bob Page, and Karen Horbatt each took an idea and built a business from the ground up. Dedication and persistence were more important than starting capital, especially for antique-finder Page. Integrity, open-mindedness, and excellent customer service are also key.

The Children's Inn is a center for the National Institutes of Health that examines and treats children with serious or fatal diseases. Recreational activities and family emotional support make the children more comfortable, and perhaps better able to fight their disease.
