The plans of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement Board, British Columbia Investment Management Corp. and the Alberta Investment Corp. to join the bidding consortium led by Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, for the buyout of BCE Inc. are discussed. The efforts of the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board to form a bidding consortium for the same purpose are discussed.
