Article Abstract:
The International Credit Association has launched Challenge 2000 as its a mission to increase membership and foster credit education in the 1990s. Challenge 2000 functions to enhance credit education through its three programs. The first program provides for the creation of a credit information exchange among associations, governmental agencies, and corporations with programs or materials for credit education. Its 'Comprehensive Credit Manual, 4th edition' functions as a vital source of information for credit professionals undergoing training. The manual also serves as the Society of Certified Credit Executives' basis for its certification tests. Lastly, a theme has been chosen for its Credit Education Week, and promotions are set to be launched to students, consumers, and association members.
