Industry analysts expect that Vancouver, BC-based Worldwide Fiber Inc.'s initial public offering will raise as much as $1 billion. Worldwide Fiber, which intends to use the funds to expand its fiber optic network in North America and Europe, recently hired Greg Maffei as its new CEO.
