Young survivors
Article Abstract:
Historian Martin Gilbert's book 'The Boys' recounts the experiences of 732 young survivors of the Holocaust who were brought to the UK after the war. Simon Saks, now a Canadian citizen, was one of those survivors who, at age 13, was on his way to Buchenwald when the Red Cross saved him.

Director Neil Munro set George Bernard Shaw's play 'Saint Joan' in contemporary times and has the Joan of Arc character dress in a paratrooper's outfit. Other plays being produced at the Shaw festival include 'And Then There Were None' and 'The Silver King.'
