Job Network, Australian government's privatized contract system, is replacing the Commonwealth Employment Service. Job West and two allied agencies won the contract and for every unemployed person matched with a job, they would receive $250. However, Job West faced the prospect of firing most of its employees because the government has not paid for 50% of clients placed in jobs.
