Youth art goes to Washington

Students from New South Wales (NSW), Australia, will contribute to an art exhibition in Washington, D.C. NSW's program "Art Express" selects the most vibrant pieces of student work in a process that includes two separate examinations. The exhibition of this work in Sydney, Australia, has developed into a popular tourist attraction. The exhibition presents a range of talents and subject matter.

The Bulletin magazine began publication on Jan 31, 1880. The magazine was based on pictures as well as text and its weekly cartoons were a regular feature for almost 50 years. The Bulletin archive, which is held at the State Library of NSW, celebrates the Australian black and white tradition.
