iCraveTV lawsuit could be stalling tactic

Article Abstract:

Toronto, Ont.-based iCraveTV.com Inc., which offers Web broadcasting services, is being sued in Pennsylvania for copyright and trademark infringement by major U.S.-based media and entertainment companies. iCraveTV.com, which was founded by William Craig, is being sued by Time Warner Entertainment Co., Disney Enterprises Inc. and other media giants.

Dot-ca system causes controversy

Article Abstract:

The Canadian Internet Registration Authority has paid $4.35 million to the University of British Columbia for managing the CIRA Web address registration system. UBC, which managed the system for twelve years, was criticized by some groups for receiving the payment even though it had done the work as a voluntary effort.

Net pharmacies cheer new U.S. import bill

Online pharmacies in Canada have backed new legislation in the United States that would allow them greater access to drug consumers. Minnedosa, Manitoba-based MediPlan Pharmacy agreed with the Canadian International Pharmacy Association that the new legislation would benefit them.
