People vs. machine: a case for automated tracking systems
Article Abstract:
Organizations can utilize tracking systems to facilitate the conversion from a judgment-based setting to a statistically-based environment for applications processing. The introduction or enhancement of the level of automation of companies will necessitate the careful selection of suitable tracking systems. Among the advantages of a good tracking system are its ability to monitor company progress in relation to the accomplishment of company goals, its enhancement of productivity levels of credit approvers, its cross-selling function, and system's ability to provide readily available information for the construction and development of various kinds of electronic credit scorecards. A procedure for the conceptualization and implementation of tracking systems is provided.
