Children return a healthy profit
Article Abstract:
The Australian government's support of child care makes investment in the industry a lucrative business. There are three ways to invest. One is to buy a lease-hold business at a cost of $200,000 to $350,000 in Queensland. The second manner of investing is as a passive investor in which the investor purchases the property and leases it to the tenant for an approximate net yield of 12 to 13 percent. The third way to invest is to own the business in addition to the property.

Heritage gains a new advantage
Article Abstract:
Residential properties are reaping the economic benefits of heritage designations even if developers and commercial projects site it as a nuisance. Whether the designation is a help or hinderance to property owners depends on the perspective of the parties involved. While it gives the property prestige and identity, local government controls can be viewed as excessive.
