Management fees on property trusts cover the cost of managing the portfolio. But fees vary according to each type of trust. In addition to the management fees, registry fees, accounting, auditing, legal costs marketing and due diligence on property acquisitions are generally billed to the trust. There is increasing pressure on trust managers to reduce fees.
