Investors need a blend of different sorts of international managers as volatile capital markets and volatile individual fund manager performance makes it extremely difficult for an adviser and their client to continually rebalance back to strategic asset allocation originally agreed. Outsourcing frees planners from time-consuming administrative and portfolio rebalancing tasks and allows them to focus on delivering more value-added services to clients and building up their practices.
