Ignoring inflation signs

Article Abstract:

Many economists describe 'core inflation' as the true meaningful measure of inflation, their reasoning being that core inflation excludes the volatile sectors of food and energy. It is believed that the official measure of inflation significantly underestimates the actual level of inflation.

Article Abstract:

Australia has enjoyed an extraordinary period of growth at a time of global economic weakness, but now, it is their turn to experience a period of slower growth. Australia has a minuscule technology sector, and as the technology bubble burst, they are largely unscathed.

Aussie set to go higher

Article Abstract:

The Australian dollar has risen 45 per cent higher against its American counterpart on April 6, 2001 that raises some obvious questions. On the basis of the outlook for global interest rates, the Australian dollar has every reason to go higher.
