Article Abstract:
Investors can use simple math calculation to determine market ratios, one of four steps in analyzing prospectuses. The other steps include understanding profitability ratios, liquidity ratios and financial stability ratios. Simple math is used to calculate earnings per share, price/earnings ratios, dividends per share, dividend yield and dividend cover. The calculations also appear in sharemarket tables of daily newspapers, but it can be useful to know how there are calculated.

Tailored credit
Article Abstract:
Consumer credit products are often use to free home equity or to pay off loans sooner. A variety of products are available with a focus on Citibank products. Interest rates for some of these products are higher and many of the same features are offered by standard variable loans and at lower rates. Unlike a variable rate where the loan decrease each year as it is repaid, the line of credit product won't decrease automatically unless the bank arranges certain repayments.
