The Perpetual Wholesale Industrial Share Fund was successfully managed single handedly by the project manager in 1998 and one of the strong points of Perpetual is that it aims at educating the experienced people who would be in a position to earn money to run a fund. The chief investment officer of Perpetual, Emilio Gonzalez specified that the company was doing well since it had achieved its objectives of taking over the good companies like Brickworks and Telecom NZ.

Australia based Michael McMohan is a retiree who invested in BT Time Fund in June 2000 and has lost almost 75 percent of his investment.
