The series constructed by Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and the Commonwealth Bank (CBA) are three main quarterly measures of capital city house prices attempting to control the changes in the geographic composition of houses. The ups and downs of Australian real estate prices in different cities are discussed.
