Investors and their financial advisors should understand how much risk each investor feels is comfortable. The law of Australia requires advisors to know what risk level the investor is comfortable with. In Australia an Internet-based tool developed by two very experienced financial-services people is the newest thing used to establish tolerance to financial risk. It has 25 questions, and answers are multiple-choice.

Wrap accounts consolidate various investments and make it easier for investors to have a better control over their investments. End of the home loan honeymoon?

Australian's are inundating lenders with inquiries from people wanting to fix their interest rates while the rates are sill at a 25-year low. Some indicators suggest rates could raise, others indicate rates could fall. Splitting home loans into half fixed rate and half variable could also be a viable option for borrowers.
