Article Abstract:
Donating to charity does have tax benefits, but donors should be careful about where and how much of their donations is actually benefiting the people who need it most. Top credit unions squeeze banks
Article Abstract:
Credit unions are able to offer free or extremely discounted accounts because they are not beholden to shareholders and are not trying to make a six-figure profit. Their fewer number of branches also helps keep costs down. The interest rates are quite a bit higher than those offered at banks, often there is only a small charge to become a member of the credit union.
