Super deserves a long-term plan
Article Abstract:
All working Australians are superannuation (super, pension fund) investors. The federal election campaign did not serve them well. Commitment to a full-scale review of the super system was scaled back. The group returned to office has said it is important to ensure security of the system, but it is also important to have an overall retirement income policy from the government. Collapse of super fund choice legislation is unfortunate. Clear guidelines are needed. Having the industry explain things to consumers and making them comfortable is important. In the interest of disclosure much information is given, and consumers become confused. Anything that would cut back the hated super surcharge is welcome, but the plan to scale it back over three years adds very undesirable complexity.

Take profits from small gems
Article Abstract:
The opportunity for the larger companies to takeover the small companies is raising as the small industries are not performing well as compared to their larger counterparts. In fact, there are some other small companies also which are profit making and performing really very well but the larger companies do not want to pay a huge sum for such companies.
