The seasonal scent of bear is still in the air
Article Abstract:
Bear markets often occur after the excesses of the previous bull market. Bear markets sometimes turn into crashes, which stems from over speculation. Over the course of history, bear markets have occurred in October, which is followed by investor panic. In 1998, the Russian market has crashed much like the 1929 Wall Street crash. It could have an affect in Germany, which could then travel to the US where the market has already lost 20% of its value.

Now is the time to buy that holiday home
Article Abstract:
Many investors believe holiday homes have the potential to double and triple their worth compared to other forms of investment. It is estimated that about 2% of Australian investors will purchase holiday homes in such locations as New South Wales, Victoria, or Queensland. Despite economic troubles in Asia, Russia, and Latin America, the prospects for buying a home as an investment venture in 1998 and 1999 look very promising.
