Booming "day time" populations effect planning
Article Abstract:
According to an observation by the United Sates Census Bureau there has been large increase in "day time population" (presence of more commuters at a place in normal working hours), this has effected the utilities and emergency operation planning of the area.

Utilities including Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and Scottish Power are embarking on projects anchored on converting wave energy into electricity. Details of these efforts and estimated electricity potential from wave energy and tidal energy are discussed.
