Electric utilities: creating the right environment for transmission investment
Article Abstract:
Th shortfalls occuring in the transmission investments in electric utilities industry and the significant importance of the Regional Transmission Organization (RTOs) stressed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is focused. The legislative doubts occured due to the inability of Congress and the hopes for eliminating the regulation uncertainity with the aid of Wall Street is discussed along with the opinions of various utility Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
