In your future
Article Abstract:
A list of the top ten technology trends of the future according to the 'PC Magazine' is presented. Based on the list, the technology of the future will be marked by, among others, more human computers that are already able to use natural-language processing and by a more stable networking technology. Innovations involving the World Wide Web, software, computers and other computing devices will also make these tools smarter and more useful. Moreover, little devices may also be able to think in the future due to numerous processors embedded within them. Lastly, the growing popularity of the Internet will make it the biggest part of the economic infrastructure, which will pave the way for an Internet economy.

Article Abstract:
The growing belief that the Internet is at the core of rapid productivity growth in the Information Age is examined from an economic viewpoint. However, some have contended that the human brain remains the defining characteristic of knowledge-worker productivity. Still, productivity is more about generating more value-added per unit of work time than it is about laboring longer or harder.
