A role for virtue ethics in the analysis of business practice
Article Abstract:
Virtue ethics offer important and distinctive insights into business practice often overlooked by utilitarian and deontological ethics. On exploring the differences in the ways of utilitarian, deontological and virtue ethics in act, outcome, and agent, the focus shifts to virtue ethics and the conformity between right thinking and desire. Deeper insight into functional developments in business practice is possible after reevaluation of the concepts of virtue ethics.

Virtue ethics, the firm, and moral psychology
Article Abstract:
Aristotelian virtue ethics is often used by business ethicists to examine the actions of business people and to explore standard ethical behavior. However, Aristotelian virtue ethics is subject to many objections because the psychology within the ethic is not well-suited for investigating some problematic forms of behavior. Likewise, the theory is somewhat conventional and overlooks politicized perceptions of situations.

Employee vice: some competing models
Article Abstract:
Ethicist Dennis Moberg's article 'On Employee Vice' is a worthy addition to writings on business ethics. Many ethicists have tended to focus on the virtue rather than vice, with few addressing the subject of vicious employees. Moburg attempts to demonstrate that many of the actions of bad employees that harm organizations take the form of breaches of trust or betrayals. Moburg's article is evaluated.
