Ethics in advertising: the players, the rules and the scorecard
Article Abstract:
The American Advertising Federation (AAF), a national trade association founded at the beginning of the twentieth century to clean up deceptive and unethical advertising, is doing very well in promoting ethics in advertising. The scorecard on ethics in advertising is based on truth, fairness, taste and decency.
