Hume's game-theoretic business ethics
Article Abstract:
A review of David Hume's 'Treatise of Human Nature' reveals that he endorsed ethical conduct in economic transactions. He argued that following moral standards in business is compatible with profit seeking. However, his argument does not provide an explanation of how the compatibility comes about. Hume leaves the problem of equilibrium selection unsolved which makes him fall short of a fully satisfactory solution to the business ethics reconciliation problem.

What happens if work goes away?
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding the effect of the Information Age on the labor market are discussed. The economist Jeremy Rifkin argues in his book 'The End of Work' that fewer workers will be needed as a result of computers to produce goods and services. If this is true, new models and a new motivation will be necessary in the future of work.
