Scouts honor
Article Abstract:
A Washington Post investigation of the Boy Scouts of America's child molestation cases cover-up revealed 416 documented cases of sexual abuse with an unknown, but possibly large, number of cases remaining undocumented. The organization provided settlements with gag orders and played on the parents' willingness to protect the child's reputation to prevent media awareness while Scout leaders played on children's ignorance about sex and used the Scouts' Honor loyalty code to require that the molestation remain a secret. A list of anonymous victims was printed on May 20-24, 1991 entitled 'Scouts Honor.'

Gender: what's the difference?
Article Abstract:
The inclusion of women in clinical trials as mandated by Congress in 1993 offers new research directions in terms of physiological and pathophysiological processes. This means that the menstrual cycle, the administration of hormones, menopause, and the psychopharmacologic agents that women take would all be taken into account by medical research. And since men and women's brains react differently, the handling of traumatic experiences by the mind and the central nervous system will be better understood.
