Just the news, please
Article Abstract:
British media's treatment of day-to-day parliamentary affairs can influence public perceptions of Parliament and its members. 'The Times' editorial decision to drop the parliamentary page both signals the public's lack of interest and exacerbates it. The press will cover news events which vary from the routine of Parliament, but members object to the loss of routine accounts of government business.
