Managing for results in an impossible job: solution or symbol?
Article Abstract:
A study showing the effect of result-based reforms on public management is presented. The study is based on the strategic planning implemented in Alabama Department of corrections and the performance measurement thereof. It is observed that result based reforms improved resource allocation apart from improving on effectiveness and efficiency even on tasks hitherto considered impossible.

The benefits of globalization: why more for South Korea than Mexico?
Article Abstract:
The benefits of globalization and the role of public administration system in reaping the benefits are studied. Poor public administration leads to lower success, which is proved by comparing Mexico and South Korea. Political elasticity theory is used to study the political aspects of the two nations.
