SARS-related propaganda

Article Abstract:

The importance of national spirit, and effectively enhanced propaganda and ideological work to prevent and treat atypical pneumonia or severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), was discussed in the Sixteenth Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The need for correct direction of public opinion, and to work hard to create a good atmosphere for preventing and treating this disease are discussed.

To have a "People's War" on SARS: words from the very top

The Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee was held on 17th April 2003, to strengthen the control and prevention of atypical pneumonia epidemic (SARS). The meeting projected the need to take immediate action to control the spread of the diseases.

The war on SARS in Beijing

Article Abstract:

The measures made for the prevention and treatment of a typical pneumonia or severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in Beijing are presented. The prevention measures include guidance to local county labor and social security bureaus, and designated medical treatment facilities.
