The Baltic republics, Russia, and energy: from dependency to interdependence?
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the interdependency between Russia and three Baltic republics in energy concerns. Results indicated that Russia and the Baltic republics support a relation that is interdependent. This relation has helped the countries realize cooperation for mutual benefits. Findings also showed the need to examine energy supply and demand in a global perspective to promote international cooperation and security.

Article Abstract:
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed in 1948 to curtail the violation of human rights in sovereign states. Today, the human rights movement is gaining ground due to the increased participation of large and influential groups. However, this progress is being undermined by US foreign policies and Western corporation-backed governments questioning the universality of the Declaration.
