Turning to Tehran

Article Abstract:

America and Iran have watched each other with suspicion and hostility for 28 years and this might just be about to change with the first direct talks and it is expected, therefore, that there will be no shortage of spoilers ready to wreck a US-Iranian reapproachment. The only relative peaceful option is an inclusive compromise, wherein, there are no outright winners, but some benefits all around, except of course, for the most implacable opponents of accommodation.
