United States-Egyptian relations: strengthening our partnership
Article Abstract:
US relations with Egypt should go beyond being dominated by the Arab-Israeli peace process as the country is changing and old policies no longer apply. Egypt is growing in terms of economic strength and is assuming a leadership role in inter-Arab affairs. It is moving towards self-sufficiency from dependency on foreign aid while it is establishing regional diplomatic ties. The US should help Egypt in developing its democratic institutions while taking care not to enforce an American brand of democracy into the country.

The study traces the emergence of three central ways of approaching the concept of evil, that is, the Augustinian emphasis on evil, the Kantian conception of radical evil and Hannah Arendt's notion of the 'banality' of evil.
