Binge eating disorder onset by unusual parasitic intestinal disease: a case report

Article Abstract:

A case study is presented of a Spanish woman with a binge eating disorder caused by a rare parasitic intestinal disease. A model of classical conditioning behaviour is used for the understanding and formulation of this case.

Bulimia nervosa and misuse of Orlistat: Two case reports

The misuse of Orlistat, an intestinal lipase inhibitor which has recently received approval for the management and treatment of obesity, by bulimia nervosa patients, is discussed.

Blindness and bulimia nervosa: A description of a case report and its treatment

Article Abstract:

A study reports a single diagnosed and treated case of bulimia nervosa in a blind, 47-year-old Spanish woman. The clinical evolution of the patient was assessed before and after the treatment, and at the six-month and one-year follow-up.
