Denial of HIV/AIDS and preventive behaviour among Israeli adolescents

Article Abstract:

A survey of adolescents in Israel reveals that denial characteristics, especially denial of HIV/AIDS as of personal relevance and denial of responsibility, are associated with low levels of condom use. This suggests that education programmes should concentrate on denial in preventing HIV risk behaviours.
