The incremental validity of the MMPI-2: When does therapist access not enhance treatment outcome?

Article Abstract:

Therapist access to the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2) was examined predicting favorable treatment outcome, above and beyond other assessment measures. The findings suggested that MMPI-2 did not provide incrementally valid information in clinical settings with an emphasis on diagnosis-based and evidence-based treatment.

Development and preliminary validation of the psychological hyper arousal scale for children

Article Abstract:

The development of the Physiological Hyper arousal Scale for Children (PH-C), a measure of physiological hyperarousal for youth is described. The psychometric properties of the 18-item PH-C were examined using a sample of students in Grades 6-12, and preliminary information regarding scale validation is provided.
