Mood-regulatory self-gifts: development of a conceptual framework
Article Abstract:
A conceptual framework is devised to evaluate the mood regulatory action of consumption that is 'self-gift' in nature. This consumption concept is considered dynamic due to its adaptive mechanism and its dependence on previous mood conditions prior to consumption behavior. The dynamism is also attributed to that aspect of behavior considered 'conscious' and 'goal-directed', the goal being that of mood alteration. These characteristics also define the habitual nature of the behavior.

Spillover processes in the development of a sustainable consumption pattern
Article Abstract:
Structural equation modelling was utilized to test the validity of hypotheses regarding spillover processes between pro-environmental behaviors. Data composed of a representative sample of Danish adults reveals that personal norms involving recycling and packaging waste prevention can be traced to more general, internalized values. The data also validates a projected positive spillover effect from recycling to packaging waste prevention.

The effect of advertising message involvement on brand attitude accessibility
Article Abstract:
A positive relationship exists between the accessibility of brand attitude and the degree of message involvement during advertising exposure. An investigation involving 62 subjects exposed to an advertising for an unfamiliar product reveals that more accessible brand attitudes are developed under high advertising message involvement. On the other hand, low advertising message involvement results to less accessible brand attitudes.
