Note on drill (Mandrillus leucophaeus) ecology and conservation status in Korup National Park, Southwest Cameroon
Article Abstract:
The analysis of the information obtained from the 1346 km of trail patrols from February to June 2006 on drill population ecology, feeding ecology, primate associations and conservation status in Korup National Park, Cameroon, is presented. The observations, with regards to existing details about drill ecology, are discussed and the significance of protection of the important drill population in Korup National Park is suggested.

Which senses play a role in nonhuman primate food selection? A comparison between squirrel monkeys and spider monkeys
Article Abstract:
The senses that are involved in food selection in two species of new world primates, the spider monkey and the squirrel monkey, are studied. Results show that that in both the species the employment of nonvisual cues decreased rapidly with repeated presentations of new food showing a fast multimodel learning process.

Niche expansion of a Cryptic primate, Callimico goeldii, while in mixed species troops
Article Abstract:
Study to examine the effects of polyspecific associations on the behavior of Callimico goeldii in northwestern Bolivia is conducted. Results show that Callimico goeldii has a lower quality as well as a more narrowly based diet while alone than when associated.
