Practice guideline for the treatment of patients with panic disorder

Article Abstract:

Psychiatrists should consider several factors in caring for patients with panic disorders. They are urged to reflect on the categories representing levels of clinical confidence in evaluating patients. They are also advised to formulate a treatment plan incorporating concerns associated with general medical and substance-induced conditions. Moreover, psychiatrists are suggested to combine medication and psychotherapy in their treatment programs and psychiatric management initiatives.
