Response-time dynamics: evidence for linear and low-dimensional nonlinear structure in human choice sequences
Article Abstract:
Dynamical systems analysis techniques are used to hypothesize that fluctuations in response time are deterministic. Researchers find chaotic dynamics in human response time data, and suggest that this low-dimensional chaotic model should be used to describe the complexity of cognitive function.

Attentional biases in geometric form perception
Article Abstract:
A series of discrimination tasks was used to investigate the role of attention in the visual perception of geometric forms. Perceptual judgments are faster when differences between standard and comparison shapes are located in the top and right regions, indicating an attentional bias.

The acquisition of odour qualities
Article Abstract:
This article investigates processes associated with the perception and acquisition of specific odor qualities. Findings indicate that when distinctive odors are smelled as a mixture subjects subsequently judge the component odors to be more similar.
