Submitting to authority: its effect on decision-making
Article Abstract:
Study results indicate that authority figures' prescriptions strongly influence decision making. In fact, test subjects proved consistently more likely to choose an authority's prescribed choice than an optimal choice, even when the prescribed choice was not nearly optimal and no penalty for deviating from the prescribed choice existed. Paradoxically, subjects faced with the most harsh penalties for disobedience demonstrated a stronger tendency to use decision time and compare alternative choices.

Can the conditions governing the framing effect be determined?
Article Abstract:
The framing effect can be determined if and only if framing or wording can alter the equate-to-differentiate strategy across various frame conditions, but not under other circumstances. The forecasts gained from the theoretical developments underwent empirical tests with new information gathered. Under all the experiments, observed choices may be illustrated in terms of the dramatically simplifying equate-to-diffenrentiate premises.

The output decision of the firm - a behavioural algorithm
Article Abstract:
A behavioral algorithm intended to serve as the basis of a generic model of a company's output decision is presented. The proposed algorithm incorporates a simple aspiration-adjustment expression. The variable M(sub i,t) results from a current-period calculation to derive expected mark-up in the subsequent period if the current-period market price holds in the subsequent period.
