Superordinate identification, subgroup identification, and justice concerns: is separatism the problem; is assimilation the answer?
Article Abstract:
An examination of the ability of authorities to maintain social cohesion amid competing interests and values shows that neutral, benevolent and respectful behavior helps in resolving conflicts and maintaining superordinate group cohesion. Strong sub-group identification creates difficulties for authorities in the presence of weak superordinate-group identification. Identification with the superordinate category modifies the contribution of instrumental evaluation and identification. Justice research indicates that a group's perception of justice increases acceptance of the authority's decision.

Procedural justice and alternative dispute resolution
Article Abstract:
Procedural justice as opposed to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is analyzed. Civil disputes have traditionally been resolved through the courts in what is legally known as procedural justice. However, since the 1970s, ADR such as mediation, judicial settlement conferences, early neutral evaluation and summary jury trials have increasingly been availed of for dispute resolution. Perceptions on procedural justice largely directed its use, especially feelings of fairness and legitimacy.

The evolution of mutuality in the resolution of transference
Article Abstract:
Mutuality can be traced back to texts dealing with psychoanalytic therapy. It refers to some aspects of symmetry in the analytic relationship. Although many believe that the pursuit of mutuality would undermine the analytic enterprise, others see is as a therapeutic relationship that is the web of communication. Mutuality in analysis evolves in domains of clinical surface and the experience of the analytic process.
