Toward neuroanatomical models of analogy: a positron emission tomography study of analogical mapping
Article Abstract:
What positron emission tomography (PET) shows about the location in the brain where analogical mapping takes place is discussed. PET imagineg and the relevant cognitive neuroscience studies of reasonining indicate that the left prefrontal and inferior parietal cortices mediate such mapping.
