Women at risk for homeless ness: comparison between housed and homeless women
Article Abstract:
A significant proportion of homeless women do not possess skills for interacting with other people. Women who are at risk for homelessness, such as those whose past history includes mental illness, drugs and alcohol problems, employment and housing instability and physical or sexual abuse, and who have skills for interacting will more likely receive public assistance or other type of emergency shelter.

Survey response rate as a function of age: a study among clergy
Article Abstract:
Elderly people are less likely to respond to mailed questionnaires or telephone interviews, according to social researchers. Clergy of the Church of England were recently mailed a detailed questionnaire survey regarding the church's work among young people. The findings showed older clergy were more reluctant to participate in the survey.

Honest disclosure on sexual surveys is often hindered by a reluctance of people to discuss sensitive and incriminating information. Various types of questioning can minimize the potential for error and ways gather more reliable information. The controlled-choice model is examined for its effectiveness in for gathering information.
